According to PML-N central leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi,
the Election Commission says that Nawaz Sharif and chairman PTI disqualification end in four and a half months.
PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while speaking in ARY News' Off the Record program said that the black laws created were always used against politicians. Under which law Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for life, the level playing field is to end the disqualification for life and to end the injustices.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Chairman PTI along with Nawaz Sharif has also been disqualified and in this regard the Election Commission says that they will remove the disqualification of both in four and a half months. Chairman PTI is fortunate that there was some relaxation in NAB rules. Chairman PTI also appointed NAB, we did it and it will happen in the future. We have also taken NAB by heart and we will suffer tomorrow too.
The former prime minister further said that the speaker and the opposition play the biggest role in running the assembly, but there was no opposition in the recently concluded assembly. Unfortunately, we have not understood the parliamentary system, we are not satisfied with the 16-month government, but we cannot call the Shahbaz government fascist. No government will function until NAB is abolished because every person is afraid of NAB and therefore no one takes decisions.
Shahid Khaqan said that today I consider the upcoming election to be pointless, but still I say that elections should be held in any case because not having them is even worse. Elections will be held at the end of February or beginning of March.
Regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that only Javed Latif knows when Nawaz Sharif will return, I think he is undergoing treatment in London and will return after treatment.
Regarding contesting the elections, the PML-N leader said that no one can give the ticket by force, if the party will not give the election, then I will not fight with the party.
The former prime minister also said that everyone used the murder of Arshad Sharif for their politics, it is important to get to the bottom of this murder, so there should be an investigation and the facts should come before the nation.
